(Indianapolis) The Indiana Invaders return after several years absence to the Stan Lyons Invitational resulted in two wins and several top finishes. The meet hosted by the Butler University on Saturday April 24th on the Famed Carroll Stadium Track. was successful in adding a high performance component to the meet for 2010 that will hopefully grow in 2011.

James "Jimmy" O'Brien & Mason Cathey highlighted the Invaders early season efforts by winning their respective 800 meter races with personal #7 & #2 all-time bests. Nathaniel "Nate" Browning finished 2nd in the 400 with teammate Ricardo “Ricky” Bell claiming 4th in the same race.

Coach Greg Harger said, "It was good to get in some solid early season outings while supporting Butler Track & Field's effort to initiate high performance races here in our community" Harger added, "O’Brien & Cathey had good race outings at 800 and the rest of our roster got in some good work in race settings either racing or setting race paces for others. Myers's initial outing at 1500 meters was not satisfying but he will get it corrected".
